Askari Metals (ASX: AS2) is continuing to advance its African-focused exploration portfolio, with significant attention on the Nejo Gold-Copper Project in Ethiopia and the Uis Critical Metals Project in Namibia. The company is positioning these projects for further exploration activity as it works toward new drilling and resource-development milestones.The Nejo Gold-Copper Project is one of Askari Metals’ key exploration assets. Covering approximately 1,174 square kilometres in Ethiopia’s Arabian-Nubian Shield, the project includes several prospective exploration targets. The company has been preparing for maiden drilling across priority areas including the Guji, Komto 1 and Komto 2 prospects. These targets form part of a broader mineralised trend that could provide important information about the project’s gold and copper potential.Askari Metals is also progressing its Uis Critical Metals Project in Namibia. The project covers approximately 380 square kilometres and is located near the operating Uis Tin Mine. Exploration has identified potential for commodities including tin, tantalum, lithium, caesium and rubidium. Historical mapping, trenching and sampling results are being reviewed to help identify further exploration targets across the project area.
