Resolution Minerals has reported a major metallurgical milestone from its Antimony Ridge Project in Idaho, USA, demonstrating near-complete recovery of antimony during recent flotation test work. The results highlight strong processing potential for the project and reinforce its position as a strategically important critical minerals asset within the broader Horse Heaven Project.Laboratory testing conducted on lower-grade mineralisation samples showed exceptionally high sulphide recovery rates, with rougher flotation achieving around 99.5% sulphur recovery. This indicates that stibnite, the primary antimony-bearing mineral, can be efficiently recovered even when feed material contains lower-grade or diluted ore zones. The outcome significantly improves confidence in the project’s future scalability and potential economic viability.Further metallurgical analysis has also shown that antimony can be effectively concentrated and processed using conventional methods, with previous test work producing high-purity antimony trioxide products exceeding 99% purity levels. These combined results suggest that Antimony Ridge may support a robust, vertically integrated processing pathway from ore to refined product. The project is also strategically positioned within Idaho’s emerging critical minerals corridor, an area gaining attention due to its potential to support domestic supply chains for antimony, tungsten, gold, and silver. With global antimony supply highly concentrated and demand rising for applications in defense, energy storage, and industrial manufacturing, projects like Antimony Ridge are increasingly significant.
